Understanding Local Economy

Our Educational Exposure Visit Tours also provide students with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the local economy. By visiting various industries such as tourism, textile, jute, carpet, sugar, oil, cigarette, cement, and brick, students can learn about the economic activities that are driving Nepal’s growth. They can also explore relevant topics such as organic farming, modern farming, different region farming, and terrace farming and its production.

Additionally, by visiting wastewater treatment plants, dams and reservoirs, and other sites related to water management and infrastructure, students can gain insight into the challenges facing Nepal’s economy and the ways in which these challenges are being addressed. Our tours also include home stays in places such as Chitlang, Ghalegaun, and Namje, where students can experience the local way of life and learn about the role that small businesses and entrepreneurship play in the local economy.
