Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal. It is shorter and less strenuous compared to other high altitude treks. The route has access to food and lodging options in short intervals. Annapurna circuit consists of diverse topography, lifestyle, and wildlife.
The trek route showcases diverse vegetation and color spectrum. Several routes leading to Annapurna Base unifies in Chomrung Camp which then heads towards a deep gorge slicing through Himchuli and Machhapuchre peaks. The pass is engulfed by dense bamboo and rhododendron forest by the narrow Modi Khola.
Visitors eventually reach the Annapurna Base Camp sanctuary where the majestic Annapurna stands tall staring down at bystanders. Major peaks of the Annapurna range, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna I, Ganagapurna, Annapurna III, and Machapuchhare, are placed in a panoramic setting. All these peaks are placed in a 10 miles diameter, and additionally has a deep glacier-covered concave in the center.
